Gidon Kremer, Chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica and Lucas Debargue visiting Asia

Chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica together with its artistic director, violinist Gidon Kremer and pianist Lucas Debargue is going on a tour to Asia; this year visiting China and Japan (February 8-14).

For the first concert in Beijing, China (February 8) Kremerata Baltica and Gidon Kremer has prepared a rather classical program of Mozart, Raskatov and Beethoven, which acts as an introduction to the rest of the tour, which this year indeed is focusing around Mozart’s works.

After the concert in Beijing, Kremerata Baltica and Gidon Kremer will be joined by the pianist Lucas Debargue, together with whom they will continue the tour to Japan, giving a concert in Hyogo on February 10. The guests of the concert will have the chance to hear a special program dedicated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Shortly after that, Kremerata Baltica, Gidon Kremer and Lucas Debargue will go to Hiroshima (February 12), where accompanied by the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra they will perform Beethoven’s String Quartet in F, the Piano Concert No 2, as well as Schumann’s Concerto for violin and orchestra in D. The tour finale will take place on February 14 in Tokyo.
