We are traveling to Italy where together with Gidon Kremer and Mario Brunello we will perform the music of Gustav Mahler. We played the Adagio from Mahler’s Symphony No. 10 in transcription for string orchestra by Hans Stadlmair many years ago and now we are looking forward to revisit this great piece. Gidon Kremer will lead the orchestra from a concertmaster position and Mario Brunello will be a principal cellist in this piece. We would also perform Mahler’s Symphony No.4 in transcription for soprano and chamber orchestra by Klaus Simon. Mastro Brunello will conduct this symphony and the soprano part will be sung by a young treble Freddie Jemison. The evening will begin with the Mahler’s Piano Quartet in A minor performed by Michail Lifits, Gidon Kremer, Kristina Anusevičiūtė,  and Mario Brunello.
