Kremerata Baltica Nonet performs at the Pannonhalma Archabbey
Kremerata Baltica Nonet traveled to Hungary to perform at the breathtaking Pannonhalma Archabbey during the Arcus Temporum Festival. It was an evening of chamber music with the program ranging from Ferruccio Busoni’s piano scores to Osvaldo Golijov’s “Last Round”, inspired by tango music. Gidon Kremer and Georgijs Osokins performed together Mieczysław Weinberg’s Sonata No. 6 for violin and Piano and Gidon Kremer and Madara Pētersone Weinberg’s Sonata for Two Violins. Also Kremerata Baltica Nonet performed Shostakovich’s String Octet and Kancheli’s “V&V”. Here we collected beautiful photos by Hungarian photographer Sandor Ujvari from our concert.
