OPUS Klassik nomination in Orchestra of the Year and Concert Recording nominations

We are delighted that the album we recorded with our artist in residence, pianist Lucas Debargue “Zal – The Music of Miłosz Magin” was nominated for two awards this year by OPUS Klassik, Germany’s most prestigious classical music prize that honors outstanding artists and recordings.

Two nominations are:

  • Ensemble / Orchestera of the Year (Award for one outstanding symphony orchestra and one outstanding ensemble)
  • Concert Recording (The soloist, the conductor and the orchestra are jointly awarded for the outstanding interpretative recording of a concert.)

We are grateful for this nominations and are very happy that this gives a greater chance for the audiences around the world to hear the music of a great composer Miłosz Magin.

Gidon Kremer was nominated for Instrumentalist of the Year for his performance on this CD.
