Kremerata Baltica Announces Spring Tour in Europe
Shortly after the first chamber concerts this spring, Kremerata Baltica continues to give performances around Europe. This time together with pianists Anna Gourari, Martha Argerich, and Seong-Jin Cho.
The tour will start with a concert in Coesfeld (Germany, 08.04), where the chamber orchestra will perform together with soloists Gidon Kremer (violin), Giedre Dirvanauskaite (cello), and Anna Gourari (piano), interpreting pieces by F.Chopin, F.Mendessohn, and L.Sumera.
CHANGE OF SOLOISTS: The soloist for the concert on April 8 will be Georgijs Osokins, replacing Anna Gourari who has unfortunately got sick.
Later, Kremerata Baltica will be joined by the pianist and dear friend Martha Argerich, with whom musicians will travel to Nurnberg (10.04), Budapest (12.04), Freiburg (14.04) and Zurich (15.04), together performing F.Liszt Concerto No 1 (transcription by Gilles Colliard).
Finally, Kremerata Baltica will be joined by Gidon Kremer (violin), Seong-Jin Cho (piano), and Giedre Dirvanauskaite (cello) as soloists for the last 2 concerts of the tour – in Munich (17.04) and Regensburg (18.04) – with a special program of F.Chopin, including both Piano Concertos.
