May Tour of Kremerata Baltica

Kremerata Baltica will start the May tour at Eckelshausener Musiktage performing in Dautphetal with Gidon Kremer (violin), Mate Bekavac (clarinet) and a young talented conductor from Lithuania – Martynas Stakionis at Atrium Roth Werke. In the festival opening concert on May 7th, 2016 with Martynas Stakionis and Gidon Kremer, Kremerata Baltica will play pieces by P. Tchaikovsky, R. Schumann, L. van Beethoven, and O. Mustonen. During the concert, Gidon Kremer will be handed a “Klang” award. 

A concert on May 8th – chamber music evening with Mate Bekavac and musicians from the Kremerata Baltica.

In the next concerts Kremerata Baltica will appear as well with conductor Martynas Stakionis and pianist Khatia Buniatishvili. With O. Mustonen, L. van Beethoven, G. Kancheli, and J. Haydn pieces in the program, musicians will perform in Eckernförde and Düsseldorf – Klavier Festival Ruhr, May 10th and 12th, 2016.
