We had a great time in Birmingham, where in collaboration with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Gidon Kremer and Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla we gave a UK premiere of Mieczysław Weinberg’s Symphony No. 21 “Kaddish”, dedicated “To the victims of the Warsaw ghetto”. Here are some reviews and pictures of this historic project as well as an open letter that Gidon Kremer sent to Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla.
